Transcriber - Freelance

We are looking for trained professional transcribers with excellent attention to detail and deadlines to join our team of freelancers.

The content is about 60-70% educational field, with other types of work available - media, documentaries/movies, training videos, YouTube, corporate, etc. Training and support on our system is provided, as well as a large searchable Support Center.

Working as an independent contractor, you have the flexibility to choose when and where you work.

The Ideal candidate:
? Audio transcription experience (1 year full-time or 2 years part-time)
? Excellent typing skills with 99% accuracy
? A minimum typing speed of 70 wpm
? Transcription software (such as FTR Player or Express Scribe), professional headphones and/or speakers, and antivirus software
? Excellent knowledge of English grammar and punctuation
? Excellent proofreading skills
? Excellent research skills
? Good time management skills (be able to return projects according to strict deadlines)
? Open... to feedback and able to make immediate corrections
? Previous training in transcription
? ** This is an independent contractor position and pay will be on a per audio minute basis, as is standard for the industry.

Pay rates range from $0.75 - $0.95 per audio minute.
