Special Education Teacher-New York - Remote | WFH

Are you passionate about making a difference in students' lives? We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This remote position allows you to provide impactful instruction and support to students across the United States, all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities...

Engage students in goal-setting, tracking progress, and fostering self-advocacy.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student's unique needs, learning styles, and goals.

Deliver remote instruction in various subjects, adapting curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.

Utilize digital tools and resources to create engaging virtual learning experiences and support academic progress.

Conduct virtual assessments and monitor student progress to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Communicate effectively with school administration and general education teachers to facilitate student success in the classroom.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Available for full-time or part-time work during school hours.

Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education from an accredited program.

Valid state teaching license in New York and your state of residence.

Reliable home computer and strong internet connection.
