Key Responsibilities
? Prepare individual and business tax returns for federal, state, and local agencies as needed.
? Maintain tax records, returns, schedules, and related reports.
? Review and prepare financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
? Update and maintain accounting records and files systematically.
? Enter accounting data into relevant databases.
? Build and cultivate professional relationships with clients, addressing their financial inquiries.
? Conduct month-end and year-end closures along with tax reports.
? Implement new accounting policies and ensure adherence to regulations.
? Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills
? Exceptional written and verbal communication proficiency.
? Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
? Capacity to manage substantial data volumes effectively.
? In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations.
? Proactive with a strong focus on deadlines and independent work.
? Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, including QuickBooks.
? Familiarity with various accounting practice management tools such as Fixed Assets, Practice CS, and AdvanceFlow.

Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
? Minimum of 5 years of recent public accounting experience.
? EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is preferred.
