What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Review inquiries related to ICD-10CM/PCS and HCPCS/CPT code assignment
• Address issues impacting the revenue cycle or data analytics
• Collaborate with the pre-bill edit team to resolve issues and communicate necessary changes
• Ensure compliance with coding conventions, guidelines, and regulations
• Utilize MS-Excel for data analysis and reporting

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred
• AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) required
• 2 years of hands-on ICD-10CM/PCS experience
• Experience using MS-Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• AHIMA approved ICD-10CM/PCS trainer
• Proficiency in encoder products
• Knowledge of National and Local Coverage Determinations
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work needs
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
