Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This position requires a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and familiarity with various accounting software.

Duties
? Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
? Maintain accounts payable records, including vendor files and payment history.
? Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
? Utilize accounting software such as Sage 100 for efficient processing of transactions.
? Support governmental accounting requirements as needed.

Qualifications
? Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
? Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
? Proficient in using accounting software .
? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
? Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
? Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal departments.
