What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Develop and execute marketing plans for sales and retention of accounts
• Build and maintain professional relationships with agents and agencies
• Conduct market research and provide key information for sales opportunities
• Maintain product/industry knowledge through training and education
• Prepare marketing reports and proposals for management
What is Required (Qualifications):
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five years of sales and marketing experience
• Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques
• Effective presentation and customer service skills
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Health insurance sales experience
• Prior experience supporting sales during an annual election period
• High level of comfort supporting employer groups
• Strong analytic mindset around data compilation
• Current and active SC state insurance license
